1-On-1 Discipleship
Jesus' last command was to go and make disciples of all nations, so it is our first priority! Discipleship is the process of knowing Jesus better personally and making him known to others. However, it cannot be done alone. Discipleship is a two-way street that takes intentionality. The Orchard Church uses a program called Exchange created by Small Circle Ministries. Through Exchange, a Disciplemaker is paired with a Disciple, and after completing the curriculum together, going through material and building relationships, the Disciple then moves to being a Disciplemaker and is paired with someone new that they can pour into.
Our purpose is to be and make disciples of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 28:18-20.
Discipleships happens concentrically—one-on-one, small groups, and large groups.
New Believers
We know that everyone’s journey with Christ is different. But before anyone can mature in the faith, it is important to lay the foundation of basic biblical truths. That is why we also offer a program called Next. This helps provide the first steps for individuals who are new to Christianity, before going deeper into discipleship.
